The Access is NOT a replacement for the Frenzy; Ozone designed the Ozone ACCESS for the snowkite market as a safe and easy to use kite with no lift. When kiting in the backcountry and especially up slopes or mountains you need a kite that does not have pop! (lift) and a kite that has fast handling with low end power.
These qualities also make it the ideal beginner to intermediate kite that works just as well with a buggy or mountain board.

How do these kites compare for power with a fixed bridle kite? I want to sell my Libre Vampir 6.5 as it is too temperamental in gusty winds - I am assuming I would need the 8m to have similar power? - DaveN - 18/6/06
