Shop Terms & Conditions
1. Statement.
This Agreement is a legal document which sets out your rights and obligations and also those of Trowbridge Active Leisure Ltd, a company registered in England with registration no. 05365985, in relation to this sites online shop.
By purchasing from the Trowbridge Active Leisure online shop, you agree to the terms of this Agreement, and you re-affirm the agreement every time you purchase. You should be aware that this Agreement may change from time to time.
The purchasing process
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse the online shop by using the catagory drop down in the top right hand corner and click on the order button for any items that you wish to purchase. One item will be automatically added to your basket, if you wish for more than one item you can select to add more items from the numbered drop down. When you have finished just click on the "Checkout" button, you will then be prompted for the further information we require to satisfy your order. You may cancel your order at any time, just putting items into the "basket" is not a commitment to buy.
Included in the price of your purchase is a receipt showing the amount of credit card charge made by our bank - this does not affect the purchase price of your goods, but if you're a business allows you to reclaim the vat on this potion of the price.
Shipping costs are on a weight basis, based on royal mail registered post plus packaging. Overseas orders should contact us before ordering for shipping costs to their country.
We aim to process your order within 1 working day (excluding weekends and public holidays), usually sooner and all orders under 2KG are dispatched by Royal Mail. Order over 2KG are despatched by Courier. There may be rare occasions when goods may not be in stock with either us or our suppliers and therfore delivery may take longer than this.
Credit card security. We know of no documented case of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using thawte 128 bit encryption. We do not see your card number at any time and the details are passed securely onto the payment gateway and then all but the last four card numbers are deleted. They are not held as clear text on any web site.
Should you ever be dissatisfied with the service we provide please e-mail info@kites-kites-kites.co.uk. We will try to resolve any complaint within 2 working days or sooner if possible.
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
your name
address
e-mail address
credit/debit card details
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Price Match Promise
If you find any product we sell advertised at a cheaper price on another online store including postage (and can show it to us), we will sell you the same item at 10% or ?€5 less (whichever is least).
Price match cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Cancellations Rights
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of receipt. We refund the total value of your order, excluding postage & packing within 30 days of cancellation and return of goods.
If you feel your goods are not to the standard you ordered we will refund the value of your order and may refund postage.
We require that any returned goods are sent by registered post at your expense and returned in the same condition within 7 days (Goods sent outside these dates may not be accepted). Any goods sent that are not in the original condition i.e. new goods that have been washed or any goods that have been stored in unfit areas such as smoky conditions will NOT be accepted. (If goods are not sent by registered post, we cannot be held responsible if they do not reach us). Please ensure that returned goods are well packed to prevent possible injury to postal workers or damage to goods.
Returned goods should be sent to the address below with a confirmation note inside, stating the reason for return and including the order number:

Any goods ordered that are later cancelled before being sent have a 5% charge applied to them to cover card transaction costs.
We communicate via email (as we find this the most appropriate method) please make sure you are available to answer any communications we may send concerning products you have purchased. If we do not receive any response to emails we send in 14 days we will refund the cost of the item minus a 5% card transaction charge.
Any goods returned to us with the incorrect postage on will have a charge levied against them of ?€5 (plus the extra postage, plus the fine from the P.O.) for collection.
Lost Parcels
Should the worse happen and your parcel go missing or not arrive, we will claim compensation. Once we receive compensation we will then refund your monies back into your account or send a replacement, whichever you perfer.
